I've totally been stalking the comments sections of the places I've found that wrote up the Turing play, to see what other AMT fans come out of the woodwork. Nothing too exciting yet, but you know I've been checking like every two hours. Aside from yesterday's SciAm article, Towleroad wrote a short piece linking back to SciAm. Thanks to Fastlad for the heads up on that.New Play About Gay Enigma Codebreaker Alan Turing Debuts (Towleroad, April 16, 2008)
So far we've got some angst about revisionist history, a Turing Test cartoon (that doesn't really have anything to do with the test and seems to believe it's the machine being tested...), and a mention of Whitemore's play (but no mention of A Most Secret War, Kevin Patterson's take on Turing's life). I wonder if anyone who went to the reading itself will post a comment

Hello, I read about your play on Towleroad and found it fascinating for many reasons. First, because I am gay and a playwright. Secondly because I have had an interest in Turing myself. And finally, because I work at Celebration Theatre in Hollywood. We are LA's only LGBT theatre company and are always looking for new work that reflects our community.
I would love to read your script. We do monthly play readings, as well as, productions of new work and I would like to see if your play would be a match with our copmany.
Please drop me a line and let me know if it is available to be read.
Thanks, OperatorLA! Uh... why don't you post a comment with your e-mail address, I'll write it down, delete the comment, and then get in touch with you.
Otherwise, I found Celebration Theatre's website. Is there an address there for submissions? Just let me know, and I'll have my agent send it on.
