I'm Just Simple Townfolk

Okay, so there's this game, and it's called Mafia, and I totally suck at it. Perhaps you know it: three mafia, two detectives, at least five townfolk -- more is better. Through interrogations, accusations, defenses, and murders, the townfolk have to execute the mafia before they get knocked off.

My problem? Everything I'm feeling is revealed on my face. In a game all about plotting and strategy, it's not the best trait to have. What can I say, though? I'm just a kid from a farm in Michigan. Simple townfolk.

But it was tons of fun. Four of the playwrights up here played with one of the casts, an ASM, a Lit. Associate, and a Co. Management Associate. It totally rocked.

Otherwise, things up in O'Neill land have been going well. I've been attending readings and rehearsals, I wrote the first episode of an upcoming Saloon piece for Vampire Cowboys, and I've had plenty of lovely naps.

Now, if only my bf and kitty cats were up here with me... :-(

I know the version called Werewolf. I've played twice, both times where I didn't know half the people. Turns into quite the little social experiment as you try to form hypotheses on almost no data.

Ha! Now I extra-want to play with you.

Long live the simple Michigan farm boy.
