But What About ROSE?!?!?!?!

Look, I'm all happy and honored and stuff to be part of this O'Neill thing and whatever, and I totally did some great writing this morning and have been able to sleep and relax and practice yoga and meditate everyday like I'm some artist and junk, but there is a very important question that no amount of artistry or enlightenment can answer for me right now:

WHAT HAPPENED TO DONNA AND WHAT ABOUT ROSE TYLER? And Martha and Mickey and Jack and Ianto and Gwen and Sarah Jane and Luke and and... and...

ARGH!!!

I'm all for roughing it, but I need my home tech set up so I can get my Doctor Who fix!

I have been watching some old Tom Baker who (yes, I finally broke down and became a complete and total Dorky McDorkface). I started out with his first season, and I was at first underwhelmed. But then there was this moderately interesting Ark in Space serial and now I've watched the first three of The Genesis of the Daleks, which is exceptional. It's really cool to see Davros, especially since it appears he is to be the villain of the current story arc in the New Who.

That I can't get.

ARGH!!!

Crazy Summer

Wow -- it's been almost a month since I've posted. Sorry about that folks, but June was utter madness. 1) I went to the National Asian-American Theatre Conference (which went well, thanks!), 2) my dayjob threw it's annual Gala (which also went well, thank god!), and 3) I had to prep for the O'Neill. Which is where I am now.

So far, so good, but I'd be lying if I didn't say it was overwhelming. There's a literal fleet of artistic, production, and executive staff to meet, not to mention all the interns. And, of course, all the other playwrights who've been arriving a few at a time over the past few days. And coming soon we'll be having directors and actors and dramaturgs, oh my! So I imagine this place will be flooded.

More later. I miss my cats. And my boyfriend, too, but he knows how to talk on the phone and e-mail, which dulls the pain.
