So the O'Neill was awesome, but we aren't really supposed to talk about it online (so as to ensure it's remaining a safe place for play development, and all that), but here's what I'll say:1. I loved it.
2. I was so lucky to have an awesome cast, creative team, and space.
3. I'm so glad to have met everyone I met.
I'm home now, and adoring it. I've unpacked, gone through the mail, and am now roasting golden beets for a salad I'm composing tonight.
Oh, that's one O'Neill thing that wasn't so hot, the food. I know I'm a total snob, but I spent the whole time eating primarily salad and cake, salad and cake, salad and cake. You'd think I wouldn't want a salad at dinner tonight, but here's the thing: the salad bar at the O'Neill had about the same 10 items. My salad tonight has none of those items. Tonight we're having the aformentioned beets, red onion, arugula, capers, and chives with some extra virgin olive oil. See THAT's a salad. I'm also beer-battering some zucchini and serving that up with some grated pamigiano reggiano. Alex will be bringing home some crusty bread and that will be dinner.Dear god, I love eating.
